Midwest Fabricators, LLC
Born in 1974, Jeff has spent his entire life in Oklahoma City. Jeff dropped out of high school, attained his GED and was accepted into college. He attended the University of Central Oklahoma and received his degree in 1999. Following graduation, Jeff worked in the funeral industry, but found this was not a good match for him. Having grown up with a family filled with talented artists and craftspeople, Jeff was interested in working with his hands. A long-time family friend, Dale McWaters, was a union sheet metal worker, and after many years of hearing about sheet metal work and conversations with this friend, he decided to give it a try.
Jeff was accepted into the apprenticeship program in 2002 and was a successful apprentice. Jeff won the local apprentice contest twice and the regional competition once. He completed the apprenticeship program in 2006 and since that time has been the foreman on numerous jobs.
Jeff believes he is fortunate to work in a field where you truly get out of your job what you put into it. Building and installing sheet metal is satisfying and gives him a sense of accomplishment at the end of every day.
Jeff’s interests include art and music of all kinds, but he is obsessed with the wide variety of sounds and styles created by the punk music phenomenon.
