Michael J. Jeske

Michael Jeske started his Apprenticeship in 1983 in Local 57, Tampa, FL. He worked for several years as a Journeyman also serving as steward and on contract negotiations before going to work full time for Local 15 in 1994 as local union organizer. Mike worked as Organizer for Local 15 for over 5 years and as an apprentice instructor before he was elected to the position of Business Manager/ Financial Secretary-Treasurer in December of 1999 where he served until being appointed to his current position with the SMWIA in November 2005.

Mike currently works in the Southeast Region with a focus on assisting Local Unions in Florida with their organizing and recruiting initiatives and promoting Local Union participation in statewide Labor-Management cooperation efforts with Florida SMACNA.
