Steve Hunt
Steve Hunt is the BIM/CAD Manager of Dee Cramer Inc. a 72 year old Sheet Metal/HVAC Contractor in Holly Michigan. Dee Cramer was ranked as the 12th largest Sheet Metal Contractor in the U.S. by ENR Magazine (October 2009). Dee Cramer specializes in Industrial, Commercial and Industrial Projects. They do Design/Build, Design/Assist and Plan/Spec Work. They are an industry leader in 3D CAD and Building Information Modeling.
Steve achieved his 4 year Sheet Metal Apprentice Training through Sheet Metal Workers Union Local 7, and he was a finalist at the Regional Sheet Metal Apprentice Contest as a fourth year apprentice. He later completed Intelicad (CAD Drawing Training) and Navisworks 3D Coordination/Collision checking. Steve was also a Sheet Metal Workers CAD/Detailing Class Instructor for Apprentice Training through Local 7 Zone 4 and has been a speaker for CAD on many occasions. He has also participated in and been the lead in numerous BIM products in the Midwest ranging from automotive factory and office buildings, healthcare facilities and casinos. Steve is fluent in Autocad, Navisworks, Revit and Fabrication Software relative to HVAC Design and Fabrication.
