Michael A. Keane

Michael comes to the International Training Institute (ITI) as a second generation sheet metal worker. He started his apprenticeship in 1988.

While advancing in his career Michael worked as a Foreman, General foreman, Detailer and went on to lead the Detailing Department at Midwest Mechanical in Willowbrook, Illinois.

Michael assisted the ITI in the creation of their recently released Detailing Curriculum by acting as Chairman of the Detailing Task Force. In 2006 he was hired full time by the ITI to run the Detailing Program. In 2008 Michael was promoted to the ITI's Director of Education and Technology. Michael has acted as the ITI's lead person on the development of their Building Information Modeling (BIM) Software (CCS).

In 2009 Michael graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Labor Education from The National Labor College.
