David M. McCoy
Executive Director
New Mexico Sheet Metal Contractors’ Association, Inc.
Mr. McCoy has served as the Chapter Executive for the New Mexico Sheet Metal Contractors’ Association for over 20 years. He has been very active in the SMACNA Chapter Executives Institute, both as a member of the Board and as a presenter at Institute educational sessions. Mr. McCoy has also been recognized by SMACNA with the Distinguished Legislative Advocate of the Year Award in 2006.
Mr. McCoy has been actively involved in the state legislature as a lobbyist for more than 30 years, focusing upon the role of politics on the industry, the business community, apprenticeship, and education.
David McCoy was inducted into the prestigious SMACNA College of Fellows for distinguished service to the sheet metal industry. This is the highest honor given in this industry.
