John F. Songer
John is the Apprenticeship Administrator for the Sheet Metal Workers' Local 15 JATC in Central Florida. John is a 2nd generation sheet metal worker and started his apprenticeship in 1990 graduating in 1994. In 1995 John started teaching at the apprenticeship training center. In 1999 John was appointed as the Apprenticeship Coordinator and later in 2003 was appointed the Administrator of the Sheet Metal Workers' Local 15 JATC, a position he still holds today.
John graduated from George Meany Center for Labor College in 2003 with a Bachoeler's in Labor Studies and Labor Education. In addition John also is an Instructor Trainer, Accreditation Assessor and sits on numerous committee's for the International Training Institute including curriculmn development. John also is a Certified Welding Inspector for the American Welding Society.
John currently resides in DeBary, Florida with his son John F Songer Jr and enjoys Coaching Little League Baseball and attending his sons Football and Wrestling meets also.
