George “Butch” Welsch

President, Welsch Heating and Cooling Co., St. Louis, Missouri

He is a Professional Engineer by training, and a Contractor for 46 years.

Served in all SMACNA St. Louis Chapter Officer Positions, including what was then the first three year term as President.

Has served as a member of the Labor Committee since 1977 and Chairman since 1995.

Has served as a Trustee of the Local #36 Pension and Welfare Trusts since 1977 and Co-Chair Trustee since 1995.

Trustee of the St. Louis Metalworking Industry Fund since 1980 and Chairman since 1995.
