Served as a Trustee of SMW Local Union 104 from 1992 to 1994.

Served as a Business Representative of SMW Local Union 104 from July, 1994 until December, 1999, covering the jurisdictions of Alameda & Contra Costa Counties.

Serving as President/Business Manager of SMW Local Union No. 104 since December, 1999. Local 104’s jurisdiction serves 17 counties of Northern California, with approximately 7,500 members.

Serving as third General Vice President of SMWIA.

Serving as President of the Western States Council of Sheet Metal Workers.
