Rubiena Duarte
Procore

Rubiena Duarte is Procore’s Vice President and Global Head of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging where she brings over 20 years of global DEIB experience to Procore. She is responsible for driving Procore’s DEIB strategy focusing on 3 key initiatives including building an inclusive workplace culture, creating a diverse global workforce, and engaging with customers to create a more inclusive industry. Rubiena holds a B.A. in International Relations and Political Science from the University of the Witwatersrand, and a postgraduate degree in International Relations and Affairs from the University of Johannesburg.

Eric Meirhaeghe
Business Manager, SMART Local 91

For 11 years, Eric Meirhaeghe has served as the Business Manager and Financial Secretary for Sheet Metal Workers Local Union 91 in Rock Island, Illinois. During his tenure, he has been instrumental in elevating the sheet metal industry through his dedication to the Code of Excellence and ensuring consistent and proactive communication among union members, instructors and employers. He takes great pride in representing more than 1,000 Local Union 91 members.

This year, Eric will celebrate 30 years in the sheet metal industry. After serving his apprenticeship, he was a foreman for 7 years before becoming a full-time instructor and CWI. He also served on the Local Union 91 Executive Board for six years and later served has as Business Agent/Recording Secretary prior to becoming Business Manager. He is currently also serving as President of the Great Plains District Council, Financial Secretary/Recording Secretary of the Illinois State Council, Vice President of the Tri-City Building Trades Council, and is on board of directors for the Illowa Construction Labor & Management Council.
