Leadership Skills
What qualities make a great leader? Leaders set the standard: They set an example for others to follow, they broaden and elevate the interests of others, they generate awareness and acceptance of the purposes and mission of their organization and stir others to look beyond their own self-interest for the good of the group.
Solid leadership skills allow you to plan strategies, organize individuals, delegate responsibilities, motivate action, and build rapport with those you work alongside. Solid leaders start with strong and effective communications skills. The 2022 Partners in Progress Conference ensure you learn the communications skills required to lead by example, tackle difficult conversations, resolve conflicts productively and create an industry culture that will allow your union, your business, labor and management to build the future together.

Forecasting the Future
Forecasting construction and business trends is not something that can be done by merely gazing into a crystal ball, rather it takes in-depth research, observation and application and when done correctly it can prove invaluable to success of signatory contractors, local unions, the workforce and our industry. Tracking trends is a crucial way to be informed about our industry and understand technology, regulations and an evolving workforce and how that could impact the future.
The 2022 Partners in Progress Conference will help you gain insight into the current state of the construction industry and discover what the future holds in the areas of new technology, emerging markets and new recruitment technologies, allowing you to capitalize on new opportunities and develop smart strategic plans.

Best practices provide a roadmap to success and are an important part of making everything work smoothly and efficiently. Best practices continue to evolve as new and better solutions are found or result from better awareness, new technology, or simply different ways of looking at things. By learning about the best practices from across the industry, you can adapt and evolve your own areas practice to capitalize on others’ experience, their success and their failures in a way that makes your local industry stronger.
The 2022 Partners in Progress Conference will give you a roadmap to build the future together with best practices for meeting training needs of the future, for strengthening cooperation between labor and management, recruitment of qualified workers, and establishing indoor air quality.
